FAQ
Where is Hill Raising Ragdolls Located?
Heading 6

We are located in Haysville, Kansas which is just south of Wichita off I-35. The closest airport is Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport (ICT).

What is your pricing? Do I have to pay a deposit?

The price for a pet kitten varies, averaging $1500-2400. If you would like to be added to our waitlist, a deposit of $300 is required. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a different kitten.

Do your kittens come with a health guarantee?

Yes, all of our kittens come with a 3 year genetic health guarantee, which includes a “NO DECLAW” and an “INDOOR ONLY” stipulation.  Your kitten will have a free 30 day health insurance plan to provide coverage as soon as he is in your arms! Please follow up with the recommended vaccines and visit your primary vet within 72 hrs.

Are you a registered breeder?

Yes, we are registered with The International Cat Association (TICA)

Are your kittens socialized?

Yes, our Ragdoll kittens live in our home and are never caged. They are loved and held from the day they are born and interact with our family and other cats on a daily basis. Socialization is an ongoing process. The more love you show them once they go to your home, the better they will be.

When can I take my kitten home?

Our kittens do not leave until they are litter box trained, completely weaned from their mothers and eating solid food… these things begin to happen between 10 and 14 weeks of age, with the average being 10-12 weeks old.

Do you allow meet and greets?

The health and safety of our cats is our number one priority. Due to how easily a number of viruses and bacteria can be passed to cats, we do not allow visitors in our home. However, we will happily do a video call before a deposit is placed. This is just one of the many ways we insure you receive a healthy kitten.

How often will I get updates on my kitten?

We do our best to keep you updated on your kitten's growth and progression by sending pictures or videos every two weeks.

Spay & Neuter

We recommend to spay or neuter when your kitten turns 6 months old. While the anesthesia is a factor, my understanding is that the primary reason to wait up to six months is physical development. Hormones aren't just about sexual development, they regulate growth, muscle development, and have an important role in bone growth and importantly, bone density. It is coming into sexual adulthood that the hormones trigger the body to stop growing the bones. If you plan to breed your kitten, plans are available for an additional charge.

Wait List

If you are on our wait list, it will be a first come basis. However, if I know exactly what you are looking for you will be contacted first. Completing the kitten application is important to complete and required.

What is the process of obtaining a kitten?

The first step is to complete the kitten application. This must be done prior to sending a deposit. This will help us in knowing exactly what you are looking for. Once deposit is made you will get lots of videos and pics of the kitten you chose.
